Memorial Day is here which means a lot of you will be enjoying the long weekend while remembering those who died while serving the United States Armed Forces. If you get peckish during Memorial Day and fancy grabbing a bite from McDonald’s will it even be possible to do so? Is McDonald’s open on Memorial Day 2019?
Most federal and non-essential business will be closed during the holiday, but when it comes to McDonald’s it’s a different story altogether. Most chains will be open, but you need to do some due diligence before making your over to the Golden Arches.

Because while they are expected to open during Memorial Day, there is no guarantee that they will be open during their regular opening hours. With it being a national holiday, the fast food chains are likely to adopt holiday opening hours.
With the vast majority of McDonald’s fast food chains being franchises, there is no across the board recommended holiday opening hours or anything. Basically, one store could set certain holiday opening hours and another chain can have something else entirely.

So, what you should do is reach out and speak to a staff member directly. You can easily get the contact details of the chain you plan to visit by running a quick internet search of said chain. The contact phone number will be pinged back in the results, allowing you to speak to the staff member who will let you know for sure if McDonald’s is open on Memorial Day, 2019.
