Skittles water may be coming soon, and we’re not sure how to feel about that

If you have ever said you love all things Skittles, you may need to rethink that. Skittles water may be coming soon.
Don’t get me wrong, if Skittles announced a new beverage line, I’d be one of the first people checking it out. After all, the candies are delicious! But that’s not what’s happening here, unfortunately. Instead, Skittles has come up with a questionable product, or so claims Instagram user @JunkFoodMom.
The foodie spotted these “treats” at the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Chicago earlier this month. Her posts, which we will link to below, shows a photo of the product and the words “coming soon” along with a description of the product.
These are small tubes of powder that you mix in with your water bottle. Yeah, you’ve seen this idea before, well now the candy is joining the flavored water game.

On the bright side, I suppose, these claim to have “zero sugar,” so that’s good. But how will they taste? Will our water actually taste like the candy or a light version of it?
The flavors we see included in the packet are strawberry, orange, green apple and grape. Which one would you love to try first? Are you even excited to check them out? Should Skittles stick to only producing delicious candy? See, these are too many questions for candy water.

When I think of candy water, I don’t feel particularly excited about it. Am I willing to give these a try anyway? Sure! And I do hope they pleasantly surprise me. What are your thoughts? Be sure to share with us in the comments!
