Pillsbury introduces filled crescents with icing for a new take on pie

Pillsbury is giving our carb loving hearts something new to love (and eat) thanks to their two flavors of filled crescents with icing.

Are you as carb obsessed as we are? Can you single-handedly finish all of the Pillsbury crescent rolls in a single tube? Are you a fan of pie? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you need to check out the newest creation from Pillsbury – the filled crescent rolls.

That’s right, our favorite easy to bake company is bringing us the magic of crescent rolls that are filled with one of two different pie fillings and then topped with the perfect icing.

While you have to do the filling and baking, we are perfectly okay with that. After all, this is all about making what amounts to pie bites easier. And it really is easy!

As someone who has no problem taking a few shortcuts with my baking, I have actually made pie bites with Pillsbury crescent rolls in the past. There are usually a few steps that are required to make it happen, but it is always worth it.

According to Delish, while these pastry kits are currently only available in select retailers, by the end of July they should be for sale on a national level. These kits come with the makings for eight filled crescents. And with a price tag of just $2.99, these are going to be a delectable must have for those days when you want a sweet treat that is easy and quick to make.
