TBS is bringing Snowpiercer Bug Bars to SDCC 2019 and you won’t want to miss out

Everyone gets hungry when attending any convention, especially one the size of SDCC 2019. TBS has you covered with Snowpiercer Bug Bars at the event.

San Diego Comic-Con is the largest entertainment convention in the United States. It’s not surprising to hear that con-goers (and the talent, volunteers, and organizers) get hungry. TBS understands that just as much as us and has found a way to make it better. The Snowpiercer Bug Bars are coming.

Bug Bars? I hear you ask. Don’t worry, they’re not actually bars with bugs. Well…okay, I tell a lie there. They include cricket protein powder, offering all the protein you could need in a bar at the event.

They’re inspired by EXO (owned by Aspire Food Group) and Snowpiercer, the bars will be available from vending machines throughout SDCC 2019. And you don’t need to pay for them. You simply add in your email address at the vending machines and you’ll be given a bar, along with some Snowpiercer content.

Yes, really! It may not sound appetizing at first, but the protein powder won’t taste like crickets. I can promise you that. And you’ll have all the energy you need to get through the next hour or two of walking that vendor floor.

Snowpiercer Bug Bars are available from July 18 until July 21, so throughout the con except on the Wednesday preview night. You’ll need to head to the TBS Snowpiercer Booth 4215 in the Exhibit Hall, where the vending machine will be.

Considering the bars are free, I suspect the queue will be big. You’ll want to make sure you’ve got time to wait!

Also, as a warning, cricket products can trigger shellfish and crustacean allergies. The bars may contain peanuts, almonds, and coconuts.
