When you think of Kombucha, you likely don’t think of an alcoholic beverage, but now Kombrewcha wants you to rethink those thoughts.

Are you a Kombucha fan looking for something with a bit more kick? Then you may be interested in Kombrewcha, an alcoholic version of the classic brewed tea.

First introduced in 2013, Kombrewcha is a pioneer in the area of hard Kombuchas, and with their eye on natural and organic ingredients, they are so much more than just your typical alcoholic beverage.

As more Americans find themselves worrying about their diet, weight, and overall health, even the alcoholic drinks we consume will find themselves being scrutinized more heavily. And with Kombrewcha, it is all about transparency and being forthcoming with all nutritional aspects of their drinks. In fact, the company seems to have a goal that their consumers won’t have to worry about sugar, calories, taste, or even price when it comes to snagging a can of their hard Kombucha.

Each of the three flavors offered by Kombrewcha is made with “real ingredients” and considering you can snag yourself a can of berry hibiscus, lemongrass lime, or royal ginger, it makes sense that we would want to know exactly what is going into every can. All three flavors are vibrant and unique, just like a traditional Kombucha, and when you think that they are made from similar ingredients, you know exactly what you are getting, but with a kick.

If you want to know more about the three flavors, we have you covered too. Up first is the berry hibiscus, which really is made with berries and hibiscus. These two flavor profiles work well with each other, giving you a drink that has a dry finish, but that is also tart and sweet.

For the royal ginger, you are getting exactly what you would expect, a ginger flavored Kombucha with bite. While there is still a sweet finish to this sip, it really is all about the ginger.

Finally there is the lemongrass lime, which again has a dry finish, but it is still refreshing. Here is a Kombucha that gives you citrus notes, as well as the lemon and lime we expect.

All three of the Kombrewcha varieties contain just 4.4 percent ABV, which means that while there is alcohol in each can, it is not so much that you won’t be able to walk the next day. Of course, as with anything it is all about moderation, so just remember that even though the base of this drink is Kombucha, the finish is all about that alcohol.
