If you avoid dairy, it likely means almost all ice cream is off the table. Sorry to rub it in, but you are missing out! And while there are several popular brands that offer non-dairy options, there just aren’t as many. Well, you can soon add Baskin-Robbins to your list!
Baskin-Robbins will soon be scooping up non-dairy ice cream. How soon? You can find it in stores beginning August 1, so get ready! As for which flavors will be available, Bustle is reporting the brand will include Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Explosion. These will taste very similar to Baskin-Robbins’ dairy flavors, but are plant-based and vegan.
I’m all in when it comes to trying new flavors, but I do prefer vanilla. We’ll have to wait and see if Baskin-Robbins has plans to add more options. Still, I’ll definitely be checking these out. I have no doubt they’ll be delicious. After all, Baskin-Robbins director of research and development said in a press release:
"“The Baskin-Robbins culinary team has been hard at work on our non-dairy flavors for over two years. It was important for us to take the time to get it right.”"
Two years? Now that is dedication!
