National Ice Cream Sandwich Day: Ben & Jerry’s NYC location offering free ice cream sandwiches

National Ice Cream Sandwich Day is only a couple of days away. Even if you are catching this feature on the actual day, there may still be time for you to get a free ice cream sandwich from Ben & Jerry’s.
Ice cream sandwiches are delicious! But those that are free or we get through an awesome deal seem to taste even better, don’t they? Ben & Jerry’s know this, so they’re giving back to our taste buds with a free ice cream sandwich only on National Ice Cream Sandwich Day, which falls on Aug. 2 this year.
Unfortunately, this is only at one location! Those near Ben & Jerry’s at Sony Square NYC can stop by from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for a complimentary Ben & Jerry’s ice cream sandwich. Hey, life isn’t fair sometimes, okay? There’s still time for other brands and shops to come forward if they decide to join the celebration.

It just doesn’t appear National Ice Cream Sandwich Day is as popular as Ice Cream Day, which had all ice cream stores celebrating. Keep this page handy, though, as we’ll be sure to update it with other deals if/when they surface!

Baskin-Robbins is rolling out new non-dairy flavors this August! You can read all about it here, but the quick scoop is: Beginning Aug. 1, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Explosion will be two of the flavors added to locations. Both are non-dairy and vegan.

Serendipity Brands ice cream also has new summer tastes! Their new flavors include Dulce De Leche, Very Cherry Chunk, and Salty Caramel Pretzel. My favorite from the three additions? Dulce De Leche! You can find these and other flavors at select 7-Eleven and ShopRite locations nationwide!
