Underrated Treat: Sno Caps deserve better than just being relegated to the movie theater
When it comes to underrated treats there is one that seems to be forgotten often – the Sno Caps. While we love them at the theater, we forget them everywhere else.
If there is one candy treat that seems to be synonymous with the movie theater, it would have to be Sno Caps. Also known as nonpareils, these tiny bits of chocolate are like nibbling on mini kisses covered in crunchy white sprinkles. And yet, once we walk out of the theater, we forget about these little sweet treats like they did something wrong when we weren’t looking.
How Sno Caps became relegated strictly to the movie theater is beyond me. If you have ever sat in a dark theater crunching on a handful of these semi-sweet chocolate bites, then you know how truly satisfying the experience is. And yet somehow this candy is an underrated treat that so many people forget even exists.
Maybe it is the fact that we associate this candy with movie theaters that makes us forget all about them in the real world. But why? We obviously love Sno Caps enough that they have endured as a classic theater candy. So what is it about them that makes them so unappreciated in the real world?

No matter what the reason is that the Sno Caps have been treated like a forgotten cousin only getting a card on holidays and special occasions, they deserve better. In fact, I would have to say that it might be time to incorporate them into our at-home movie plans, as well, because this would be the perfect way to give them new life.
Seriously, why wouldn’t you want to snack on Sno Caps while cuddling with your boo? Of course, maybe you don’t love the little sprinkles on the top. If that’s the case, we understand. But, if you love that added bit of crunch, then why are you sleeping on these underrated treats?
Sno Caps deserve so much better than what we give them. And hopefully reminding snack lovers of these little sweet treats will give them a new life away from the movie theater and in our homes. Forget Netflix and Chill, it’s time to Netflix and Snack.
