McDonald’s is putting its iconic Big Mac Sauce up for sale, all for a pretty darn good cause!

Are you in the market for some Big Mac Sauce? Are you also in the market to do something good for charitable reasons? Well, this story may very well be up your ally.

McDonald’s is once again putting bottles of its Big Mac Sauce for sale in Australia (yep, this is an Aussie Only promo, cue sad face), in which all of the proceeds from the sale will go to support The Ronald McDonald’s House, which provides families who have a kid in the hospital with a place to stay during their stay.

So this time around, McDonald’s is putting their Big Mac Sause to the greater good, which is something you don’t see often nowadays from big corporations.

The promotion is part of “McHappy Day,” which has been an Australian tradition since 1991 and is the day that is dedicated to supporting the Ronald McDonald House. McHappy Day has proven to be a top-tier success in Australia, raising over $46 million for the Ronald McDonald House ever since its fruition.

But McDonald’s didn’t need to take on a charity to move over 140,000 bottles of Big Mac Sauce. The last time McDonald’s released its secret sauce for sale, the world was nearly tilted off of its axis, with folks selling them on eBay for thousands of dollars. Yes, thousands.

So why in the world is McDonald’s Big Mac Sauce such a giant hit? It may well have to do with the fact that McDonald’s lists the ingredients that go into the sauce, even though it doesn’t tell you how much of said ingredients to use. Ah, I see you McDonald’s.

Next. People are going insane over this McDonald’s dessert hack. dark

So, if you’re an Aussie and looking to do some good before the holidays, get you a bottle of the sweat, glorious Big Mac Sauce.
