Last week, IHOP launched their holiday menu, teaming up with The Elf on the Shelf for all our sweet craving needs. How would you rate the menu?

On a scale from Bad Santa to Home Alone, how would you rank IHOP’s latest seasonal menu? We’ve tried it out (a couple of times, actually) and have a few thoughts about it. Not only is it our job to sample the latest, but as true foodies, we can’t resist when a restaurant rolls out new menu items, and IHOP is one of our favorites!

Last month, IHOP featured an Addams Family -inspired menu that truly hit the spot. Though it was more sweet than spooky, who even craves sour foods at IHOP. The breakfast restaurant knows what their customers want. This is why I’m so excited to share how much I loved the holiday menu. Here’s what it includes:

Jolly Cakes: Green pancakes (just like the ones the restaurant featured for The Grinch) topped with cream cheese icing, whipped topping and sprinkles. The four-stack fluffy pancakes resembles a Christmas tree, except this one is far more tasty.

I only got the short stack since I ordered it as part of the combo. The flavors remind me of the cupcake pancakes, so as fun and festive as they appear, the taste isn’t too unique.

Oh What Funnel Cakes: Yes, please! A funnel cake is such a fun way to welcome the holiday season. This golden and crispy treat is not only delicious and perfect for the season, but it never fails to feel nostalgic. These are dusted with powdered sugar and topped with strawberries!

Holiday Ham & Sausage Omelette: Though there is nothing too cheery about this dish, that doesn’t mean it isn’t delicious! This fluffy omelette comes with diced ham and sausage. Included are also roasted peppers, onions, hash browns, and Jack & Cheddar cheese. This is a big boy, but aren’t the holidays all about big plates?

Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate: This is a must-have delicacy! If you love hot chocolate with marshmallows, you’ll absolutely enjoy this one!

Which seasonal menu has been your favorite from IHOP? I always look forward to the holidays!
