Budweiser and the NBA want to ‘Drink Wiser’ with a little help from Danny Green and Anthony Anderson

The NBA and Budweiser have partnered on a new Drink Wiser campaign in honor of 22 years working together. And they got the Lakers’ Danny Green and actor Anthony Anderson to help. (Oh, and we even got to ask Green a few questions of our own!)

Recently Budweiser renewed their partnership with the NBA to remain the official beer of the league. Considering this partnership has been happening for 22 years, it makes sense that they would decide to honor that partnership with a very special campaign. But instead of promoting beer, they are actually hoping fans ‘Drink Wiser.’

In a press release on Nov. 14, Budweiser and the NBA announced their new Drink Wiser campaign, while also unveiling the advertisement that went with it. With the help of the Lakers’ Danny Green and actor Anthony Anderson, fans are asked to once again drink responsibly.

As part of this year’s Drink Wiser campaign, Green and Anderson are asking fans (whether they are at the game or watching at a bar or even with friends) to “Hydrate Between Buds.” This simple practice will help anyone enjoying a beer or two with the game to remain mindful of their drinking habits.
