Starbucks: How to order a Grinch Frappuccino off the secret menu
Looking to add some holiday cheer to your next Starbucks order? Then why not try the Grinch Frappuccino off the secret menu?
There are a lot of delicious treats on the Starbucks secret menu, and when they are holiday ready then we simply can’t resist giving them a try. And luckily for us, the crew over at Totally the Bomb has helped to create a Frappuccino inspired by none other than the Grinch himself.
Here’s the thing about this Frappuccino, it will likely remind you of other secret menu items, and that’s okay. Of course, it is also important to remember that you can’t walk up to the baristas in Starbucks and ask for a Grinch Frappuccino – it’s not going to happen.
However, if you have the recipe and know what to ask for, you can give your Instagram a touch of the holidays courtesy of Starbucks, while also getting a delicious treat that satisfies your taste buds.
In order to get a Grinch Frappuccino, you must first order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. Ask to have matcha powder blended into the mix. From there, you will want it topped with whipped cream and ask to have some more matcha powder sprinkled on top. And the last step to is to ask to have two pieces of Strawberry placed on top (if you can get them to shape it like a heart then you really have the perfect Grinch Frappuccino).
Honestly, this feels like a pretty tame addition to the Starbucks secret menu. And while there are certainly a few added steps to this than their might be on a standard Frappuccino off the menu, it is not as bad as it could be.
Personally, I am excited to try this one since it gives me the matcha I love, but with a twist thanks to the use of the vanilla bean as a base. This really does sound like the perfect treat, and knowing it is inspired by our favorite holiday curmudgeon just seems to seal the deal on this Frappuccino.
