The holiday season just got sweeter! Subway has just announced the launch of a sweet new treat just in time for National Cookie Day.

Are you a fan of cookies? Who isn’t! You are probably already aware that December 4 is National Cookie Day, and Subway is not going to skip out on this foodie holiday. In fact, Subway Restaurants are all in this year with the launch of a new cookie: The Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookie.

According to the release, this new cookie is loaded up with dark chocolate dough and features red cherries and semi-sweet chocolate chips, as well as hints of natural vanilla. I don’t know about you, but this sounds delicious!

That’s not all, Subway is also bringing back its Gift-a-Cookie program, which allows guests who visit Subway.com/sendcookies to purchase cookie eGift cards in increments of $1 for one cookie, $2 for three cookies, or $8 for a dozen. These eGift cards can be used by recipients when they scan the QR code on their mobile device at Subway Restaurants (or print out your eGift).

Searching for a foodie gift that’s budget friendly and delicious? This one is it! As much as we love Subway subs, their warm cookies are truly what complete the meal.

Will you be giving away an eGift card this holiday season in addition to stopping by for a Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookie on National Cookie Day? You know we will!
