The snack that smiles back just got better (and more healthy), the first ever Veggie Crackers from the Goldfish brand are swimming to stores soon. Get all the details, below!
Just in time for the new year, Goldfish is helping parents prep school lunches with an extra side of veggies! Fear not, your children are not going to want to turn away from this snack, it is the snack that smiles back, after all. We are of course talking about Goldfish cheesy crackers!
This is Goldfish’s first-ever line of crackers made with 1/3 serving of veggies. These will be available in two kid-friendly flavors: Cheesy Tomato and Sweet Carrot. The brand was very kind to send me a couple of packages of each new flavor to try out for myself — and put these crackers to the test with my 6-year-old at home.
This isn’t the first time Guilty Eats works with Goldfish, we also sampled their very cool Halloween packaging earlier this year. Needless to say, the brand is always on top of the latest trends and, as you can see here, creating new flavors with parents in mind. Personally, the Baked Goldfish are my favorite since they lean more on the healthy scale, but consider the Cheesy Tomato and Sweet Carrot my new faves!
My kiddo was happy to receive more Goldfish, and, surprisingly, not at all hesitant to sample the new flavors. Now, it’s important for me to note that this kid is one picky eater. But I believe that since he is so familiar with Goldfish, he was more willing to trust what they had to offer.
From the two, the Sweet Carrot is his favorite. Nothing wrong with the Cheesy Tomato, but he comments that the Sweet Carrot is simply “more tasty,” gotta love kid food critics! They also taste nearly the same as the regular Baked Goldfish, which is a win in my book. Similar taste, but with veggies, it’s a win-win!
The Cheesy Tomato truly is super cheesy! They have a little extra flavor, too, which is why I thought my 6-year-old would enjoy these more, but what do I know.
When will Goldfish Veggie Crackers be available? Beginning early January 2020, find them at select grocers such as Kroger. The snack will then have a nationwide rollout in March 2020.
