Uh-oh. Did you forget to get dessert for Christmas dinner or are missing a key ingredient? Here are the grocery stores that are open Christmas Day 2019.
There are so many grocery stores. We all have our favorite and there is one for every budget, but on Christmas Day, not every store is open. In fact, hardly any stores open on Christmas. We don’t blame them, it’s the biggest holiday of the year! But here are a few that can help save the day. Or, in this case, your meal.
Preparing Christmas dinner is no easy task. We are already so busy with family and avoiding the overcrowded stores, making a trip to the store is the last thing on our mind, and the last thing we want. But, in case of an emergency, here’s where you can shop in case you made a list, but didn’t check it twice!
7-Eleven: It may not be a “grocery store,” but they’ll likely have what you need for the holidays. Most locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Christmas Day.
Albertsons: Most locations are open, but with their hours of operation are different. Check out yours online before going.
CVS: Most pharmacy locations are open today, but practicing shorter hours.
Rite Aid: Most locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Christmas Day, but look them up online to be sure.
Safeway: Just like Rite Aid, most are open, just practicing shorter hours.
NOT opening today are: Kroger, ALDI, Costco, H-E-B, Sam’s Club, Stop & Shop, Trader Joe’s, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods.
