After some time away, Burger King has decided to bring back the 5 for $4 Meal Deal. Get it while you can!

I never understood why Burger King decided to discontinue the 5 for $4 Meal Deal. It was one of the best, if not the most popular, meal deal at any fast-food chain, and it quickly became a hit with those (myself included) who are always trying to pinch pennies.

When it went away, I felt like Burger King abandoned us at the mercy of the fast food Gods. Well, Burger King has heard the complaints and the jeers, and have finally decided to bring back the 5 for $4 Meal Deal.

For those who haven’t heard of this bundle of fast food joy, the 5 for $4 Deal consists of a Bacon Cheeseburger, four nuggets with dipping sauce, value-size fries, a 16-oz drink, and a chocolate cookie. All of that food for just $4? Who could past that up?

Over the past few years, Burger King has led the way in promotional deals, especially through their BK mobile app (which a story on that will be coming soon). In all honesty, their deals are much better than the ones at the other chains, and if you’re looking for more food-for-your-buck, then it would be quite impossible to avoid Burger King.

But while it’s nice to have the 2 Bacon Cheeseburger Meal for $4 at your fingertips, nothing, and I do mean nothing, can compare to the 5 for $4 Meal Deal. It was simply a forward-thinking move by a company that, when it debuted in January 2016, was struggling to find its magic touch.

That meal deal changed Burger King’s outlook for the better, and I guess it was this reason why they decided to end the promotion and replace it with the $4 King Meal Deal, which is OK, but not like the legendary 5 for $4 Meal Deal.

Yes, I said legendary. Now change my mind.
