It’s a sad day for Great British Baking Show fans as another host is leaving the tent for good. Check here for all the details.
News flash, Great British Baking Show fans! Everyone’s favorite Danish comedian and host on the past three season of the Great British Baking Show, Sandi Toksvig. is leaving the show. She announced her departure via Twitter Thursday morning with a link to the story from Channel 4.
But while others leave jobs to spend more time with their family, she states that she’s leaving to spend more time on her other work.
Fans of the show from the beginning (me included) were skeptical of the new hosts after the brilliance that was Mel and Sue. But Sandi and Noel quickly made us all laugh and made a place in are hearts. Not being able to see Sandi and Noel dressed up at the beginning of each episode or messing around while the bakers were in the midst of a challenge will be incredibly sad.

But fans of the show will not be the only one to miss her. Her co-host, Noel Fielding, and judge on the show, Prue Leith also took to Twitter to express how sad they were that Sandi was leaving while Paul posted his statement on Instagram.
The question now is: who will replace Sandi? Can anyone really stand out against Noel’s sweaters like Sandi did? Only time will tell. Luckily, we get to see Sandi one final time during The Great British Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer this spring.
I feel like Tom without Jerry ! Mick without a Keef :( gonna miss yooooooooooooooooo and the wonderful times we got to play together in the tent ! Double acts are rare and magical beast and working with you was a pleasure x x x all my love Mr Noel x pic.twitter.com/nkbuLpvQMs
