Ranking Hershey’s Valentine’s Day candy line-up
By Sandy C.
Valentine’s Day season is in full swing and sweet, sweet treats have taken over grocery aisles (and our hearts)! But does candy get any better than what Hershey’s has to offer? Let’s rank our favorites!
Earlier this month, Hershey’s sent to our door the happiest and sweetest surprise — a box of all their chocolate and candy Valentine’s Day treats! We’ve been munching ever since. Yes, I shared! These sweets are too tasty to not want to spread the joy. Not to mention, there was no way my kid was going to let me have it all. Needless to say, we love Hershey’s, and their themed treats are always the best.
When a holiday rolls around, Hershey’s is quick to modify their candy, but the brand does more than simply change its packaging. The don’t just slap on red and pink and call it a day. Hershey’s goes all out to please their consumers.
From creating fun, new flavors, to changing up the shape of their candy, Hershey’s does it all! Below, we rank the candy we received. They include returning favorites and new Valentine’s Day offerings!

Have a look at what Hershey’s has made available this year and get started on those Valentine’s Day goodie bags! Or just buy several for your candy jar at home! Either way, enjoy.
#5 Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts: Though the flavor isn’t new, the shape is. Reese’s did something similar for the holidays, creating stocking, Christmas tree, and other fun shapes with their iconic candy. These are available in snack size and come in 10.2 oz bags at a suggested price of $4.09! Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts are perfect for the Reese’s fan who seeks the same taste, but fun, Valentine’s Day-themed shape.
#4 Hershey’s Extra Creamy Milk Chocolate Filled with Strawberry Creme Hearts: Is one of your Valentine’s a sucker for creamy treats and chocolates? Search no further than these hearts! They are super creamy and sweet, but the strawberry flavor give it that extra delicious kick to your tastebuds. (SRP $4.09)

#3 Jolly Rancher Jelly Hearts: These are the best for candy jars! Give your kitchen (and taste buds) a little upgrade with a clear jar filled with these tiny heart treats! They have the iconic Jolly Rancher flavor, but Jelly Bean texture. And at a suggested retail price of $2.99, it’s a steal.
#2 Hershey’s Kisses Dark Chocolate Lava Cake: Just like Reese’s, if you enjoy the traditional Hershey’s Kisses Dark Chocolates, you’ll love these! It’s the best of both worlds as it is dark chocolate AND a gooey chocolate center waiting to surprise you. It’s the ultimate chocolate treat. These are available in 7 oz bags for $3.49 and 9 oz bags for $4.09, prices may vary.
#1 KIT KAT Raspberry + Creme Miniatures: No matter the theme or flavor, KIT KATs are always my number one! These win for all the reasons. First of all, they are pink! They smell delicious even before being unwrapped, and the taste is out of this Valentine’s Day world. It’s the sweetest treat and you gotta love KIT KATS for being sweet, chocolatey and having a crunch to them!
