A vegan McFlurry at McDonald’s? I can’t say I would give up any other drink for it, but at Guilty Eats we are definitely curious!

Color us intrigued! A McFlurry sounds delicious at any time of the day, but a vegan one? My first thoughts are “no thanks!” I can just imagine it tasting well, tasteless! We’re used to the yummy, albeit probably not as healthy, ingredients. No offense at all to vegetarians or vegans, I’m just into what I’m into. However, we wouldn’t be true to our site if we refused to try it all! At Guilty Eats, we welcome all eats! And this includes food and drinks that are on the healthy side. Simply put, we are down for it all.

That said, it may still be a long, long while before my taste buds even get close to a Strawberry McFlurry. This is because they are only available in select locations…in Germany! So, unless I happen to travel there for some reason, I may never get the chance to know what they taste like.

McDonald’s is testing the treat there, first, with plans to expand if the McFlurry is successful. For those as curious as we are, Delish shares that Germany customers can order the strawberry sorbet as a sundae and it can be topped with Oreo cookie pieces — okay, now that sounds a little better!

Surprisingly, this isn’t the first vegan menu option from McDonald’s. In Germany, that is. The source shares that, last year, select locations debuted the Big Vegan TS, a burger with a plant-based patty.

If you were in Germany, or currently are, would you visit McDonald’s to try out the vegan McFlurry or is it a hard pass? We won’t judge!
