Looking for a new outrageous food to try? Head on over to KFC to get the taco with the fried chicken shell. You’re going to have to travel to get one, though.

Think of the most outrageous food you’ve ever seen. At first, it might have been a hamburger with donuts for the buns. Then, it was the sandwich where two grilled cheese sandwiches were holding the contents together. But now, we’ve hit a new marker in “is this a good idea?” food and it comes from the fried chicken giant, KFC.

You don’t really think of tacos when you think KFC, but think again because now they have tacos with fried chicken shells which they are calling the Kentaco. But beyond the unusual shell, the taco is filled with lettuce, tomato, and four different shredded cheeses. It’s like an inside-out chicken sandwich. Who asked for this?

You may be thinking this had to be something coming to America, but you’d be wrong. It is only available at KFC in Singapore. Whether it will ever end up on a menu in America is unknown, but knowing Americans, there would probably be a line outside the door to get one.

The fight for the best chicken sandwich has been no joke. KFC could certainly bring some originality to the fight with this “taco.” But as of yet, you’ll have to head to Singapore to buy one.

This isn’t the first fried chicken shell taco, though. Taco Bell brought out their version back in 2017 with the Naked Chicken Chalupa and it has been on their menu ever since. Maybe it will be a win for KFC as well.
