Costco selling giant carrot cake just in time for Easter

Thinking about what to buy for Easter this year? Costco has dessert covered with this huge carrot cake bar.

While Easter may not include a gathering with your family this year, that doesn’t mean you can’t pick up a few spring treats while you’re out looking for toilet paper and Lysol wipes. Costco has an especially large sweet treat with their huge carrot bar cake. How big is it? Well, it weighs 2.5 lbs. Costco does not play around when it comes to cake.

The carrot cake consists of three layers of cake with cream cheese frosting (the best frosting to ever be invented) in between each layer. Also, this is a bar cake so there is no frosting on the sides which allows you to see the different layers. There is frosting on top as well as what looks like a sprinkling of chopped nuts. Yum!

It doesn’t matter whether you’re social-distancing by yourself, with your immediate family, or a roommate, this cake is big enough that it will last you awhile. Will I judge you if you eat it in one sitting? Absolutely not! I will Skype you and we can eat our cakes together at a safe distance. There really isn’t a better time to indulge in a tasty dessert.

But you might not even need to leave your house as Costco is part of Instacart. You can add this ridiculously good-looking cake to any order of $35 or more and it will come right to your house! Does it get better than cake coming to your house? I think not!

This carrot bar cake currently costs $15.99 and will only be available for a limited time. While you may find carrot cake year round at other places, Costco, sadly, only has it around Easter time. So get it while you can!

While plenty of people are baking now that they have the time and are stuck in the house, this cake would be difficult to recreate. So why not celebrate Easter or simply the coming of warmer weather with this huge carrot cake? I know I wouldn’t mind finding one in my Easter basket!
