By Sandy C.
National Grilled Cheese Day is April 12, got your recipes ready? It’s the perfect time to try a new recipe, and we’ve got several ideas!
National Grilled Cheese Day falls on Easter Sunday. While some may find this a little complicated to work around, why not celebrate both? Just include some delicious grilled cheese sandwiches into your meal and you are set! And if it’s recipes you need, that’s what we are here for.
Let’s not ignore the elephant in the room, though. We are aware that the world continues to practice social distancing and isolation, but that doesn’t mean it is going to be a lonely Easter. We have Airtime! Let’s get family and friends on a video call and enjoy as best as we can!
There’s something special about grilled cheese sandwiches, they just take you back to your childhood and give you all of the nostalgic feels. They are also easy and quick to put together.

Airtime is very different from Zoom, and it works better for cooking together with loved ones. The real-time video chat platform allows co-watching while video chatting. It’s perfect for watching a recipe, so all participants can follow along in real-time.

From the press release, here’s how Airtime works:
"All users need to do is set up an Airtime room, invite access to just the friends they want to access, and once one person enters the room all other room members are signaled someone is in the room and can just pop in."
"Optimal for 4-5 friends, a screen appears in the center of the “room” once one of the members pulls in content they want to co-watch."
"Now you can actually see your friends reaction to the content — not just wait for a text driven response."
How will you be celebrating National Grilled Cheese Day on April 12? Zoom party? Airtime cooking session? Or are you lucky enough to at least be isolating with a few family members?
