Doritos: Are Cool Ranch or Original the best?
Doritos is one of America’s favorite chips, but your favorite flavor all depends on your personal taste. So what’s your pick: Original or Cool Ranch?
Who doesn’t love Doritos? Cheesy, crunchy chips are the perfect snack to satisfy your cravings and you even get to lick the powder off your fingers when all the chips are gone. But not everyone agrees about which flavor is the best. Is the original Nacho cheese flavor your favorite? Or is Cool Ranch the king of the Doritos?
This is all up to personal preference, of course, but let’s be real…the original Doritos reign supreme! I’m very biased in this fight. I have despised Cool Ranch Doritos since they were first introduced. I never got what all the fuss is about. They taste like cheese that has been around one too many days and smells worse.

Are Cool Ranch Doritos like a cilantro thing where you either love it or you think it tastes like soap? Most of the people I know are obsessed with them, but if I had a choice between not eating and eating Cool Ranch Doritos, I would wait until I could get something that actually tasted good (sorry, not sorry).
Why have Cool Ranch Doritos when you can have the cheddar cheesy zesty goodness of the original? They are original for a reason. They taste delicious! Why replace it with a flavor that is…not good?
I know you all are off to Twitter to yell at me and shun me from virtual society, but I stand by this one. When I go and stock up on food, I’ll be picking up a bag or two of original cheesy Doritos and giving side eye to the Cool Ranch bags next to them.
