When it comes to frozen pizzas brands, which is your favorite?

Frozen pizzas are a staple in many households. They’re easy to make, super delicious, and the house smells so yummy when you pop these in the oven. They’re also super convinient to have these days. Let’s look at some of the best frozen pizza brands and determine which ones you need in your freezers immediately.

Home Run Inn

Price: $7.99
Where to buy: Most major grocery stores

This frozen pizza has to be mentioned first because it is my personal favorite. Nothing will ever beat Home Run Inn for me, and no one will ever be able to convince me otherwise. There is just something about the crust on this pizza that, for me, is just absolutely out of this world. It’s not only affordable, but it tastes good.

There are so many different varieties that will appeal to all, including:

  • Classic Cheese, Classic Sausage, Classic Pepperoni
  • Pepperoni & Sausage Combo
  • Classic Sausage Supreme
  • Sausage & Mushroom (one of my personal faves)
  • Signature Deluxe

Some of their pizza varieties also come in their Ultra Thin crust and their classic crust. Don’t get me wrong, the Ultra Thin crust is good, but definitely stick to the classic crust.

Home Run Inn will always hold a special place in the favorite food section of my heart forever.

Wild Mike’s

Price: $5.74 (@ Walmart)
Where to buy: Jewel Osco, Walmart, Mariano’s (most major grocery stores)

More from Snacks

This frozen pizza comes in close. It’s only got four different flavor/topping varieties, but you don’t really need all these fancy varieties in order to be good. Wild Mike’s is pretty cool actually; with each pizza, upon opening the box, they give you a packet of Italian seasoning and roasted red pepper flakes (the perfect toppings for pizzas). It gives you a little bit of creativity if you do or don’t want either of those things topped on your pizza.

The four flavor/topping varieties that Wild Mike’s offers includes:

  • Super-Sized 4 Cheese
  • Super-Sized Sauge & Pepperoni Combination
  • Super-Sized Pepperoni
  • Super-Sized Supreme

All of their Super-Sized pizzas are 14″, but they do offer some varieties in a Fun-Sized pizza of 9″.

Giacobbino’s

Price: $13.99
Where to buy: Jewel Osco

This frozen pizza is different from the other two mentioned above. It’s got a much thicker, heartier crust and is pretty big as well.

At most Jewel Osco locations, Giacobbino’s pizzas are located just outside the Deli section in a little refrigerated case/stand. They are take-and-bake pizzas that are the perfect size to feed a family for a simple and easy dinner.

The sauce on this pizza is absolutely delicious, and the crust is crunchy, yet soft, oddly enough.

Their (simple) flavor varieties include:

  • Cheese
  • Sausage
  • Pepperoni

DiGiorno

Price: $4.49-$8.49
Where to buy: Most major grocery stores

I’ve had this brand of frozen pizza a few times, but definitely not nearly as much as I’ve had the other mentioned above. From shopping around, I know that DiGiorno frozen pizzas come in a variety of different crust types, such as Rising Crust, Stuffed Crust, and Traditional Crust.

They definitely offer a variety of toppings as well, including:

  • Spinach, Mushroom, & Garlic
  • Four Cheese w/ Cheese Stuffed Crust
  • Sausage w/ Rising Crust
  • Three Meat w/ Rising Crust
  • Pepperoni w/ Traditional Crust

This is definitely a classic favorite for many.

Jack’s

Price: $3.99
Where to buy: Most major grocery stores

Jack’s pizza is one of those pizzas that are the best to buy in bulk and to always keep stocked up in your freezer. They’re a bit on the smaller side, but they’re inexpensive and delicious. With their size being a bit smaller than the rest, that’s perfect; if someone wants a different topping, just go ahead and throw another pizza in!

Jack’s, for me, actually takes second place on this list right behind Home Run Inn. Their thin crust is just so light and crunchy and any variety I’ve had of theirs has definitely not disappointed.

They have a bunch of different topping varieties, including:

  • Meat Lovers
  • Chicken Supreme
  • Canadian Bacon
  • Half & Half (Pepperoni & Cheese)
  • Spicy Italian Sausage

Definitely don’t knock Jack’s until you try it. They might be small, but their flavor is huge.

Red Baron

Price: $4.49
Where to buy: Most major grocery stores

From what I’ve seen, Red Baron either comes in their traditional crust, or in a deep dish crust. I’ve only had their traditional crust, as deep dish really isn’t my favorite, but it still looks delicious nonetheless.

Red Baron does have one of those crusts that’s just absolutely delicious. If you see a theme here, I’m really all about the crust; their cheese is also so gooey and delicious!

Some varieties that they offer for toppings include:

  • Supreme
  • Pepperoni
  • Four Cheese
  • Sausage
  • Bacon Scrambles (mini breakfast pizzas)

Screamin’ Sicilian

Price: $7.99
Where to buy: Jewel Osco, Mariano’s, Walmart (most major grocery stores)

Screamin’ Sicilian, before we get into the actual pizza and taste of it, has the coolest pizza box out of all of these on this list. It’s got a big mustache and a clear portion in the middle so you can see how delicious your pizza is already.

Screamin’ Sicilian probably has my favorite cheese pizza variety, as it’s got huge pieces of fresh mozzarella cheese all over with traditional shredded cheese underneath it.

Some other (delicious) varieties with cool names that they offer, include:

  • Mother of Meat – sausage, pepperoni, ham, & bacon
  • Bessie’s Revenge – huge slices of mozzarella (*my personal fave*)
  • Boss Hog – Italian sausage
  • Spicy Clucker – jalapeño, pulled chicken, bacon, creamy ranch sauce, & white cheddar cheese
  • Mambo Italiano – Italian sausage & pepperoni

All of these different brands of frozen pizza are absolutely delicious; however, if you had to choose one to go and try, choose Home Run Inn. It’ll be your new favorite frozen pizza for sure!
