Little Caesars is looking to do their part when it comes to giving back to the people who are making a difference in the community. And they are doing it with free pizza.

Are you a first responder or health care worker? Are you a fan of pizza? If the answer is yes to these questions, then Little Caesars wants to help brighten your day.

According to Narcity, starting on April 15, Little Caesars locations across Canada would be giving free slices of pizza to front line workers, specifically first responders and health care workers. This means that if you are a firefighter, police officer, or someone in the medical field, you could get one of the 250,000 slices of pizza the restaurant chain will be giving away.

The plan is to offer these free slices for the next few weeks to help frontline workers get through the day. The president and CEO of Little Caesars, Dave Scrivano, made a statement in which he said, “Hospital staff and first responders are working around the clock to help keep us safe and healthy, and they are true heroes.” And we completely agree with him and his assessment.

If you are interested in helping to pay it forward, starting on April 20, it seems that the restaurant’s app will offer the ability to “pie it forward,” which will allow customers to order a pizza for a local hospital, fire department, or even police department. Those pizzas will then be delivered to those locations in upcoming weeks.

This offer to feed front line workers joins the company’s other efforts to make a difference, which includes starting a national fund to help make sure those who are helping the community are getting fed.

Little Caesars is not alone in making sure that first responders and health care workers in Canada are taken care of. Other restaurants that have stepped up include Tim Hortons, Nando’s, and Smoke’s Poutinerie.
