Khloe Kardashian lending a helping hand as she buys groceries for the elderly and more
Khloe Kardashian is lending a helping hand to those in need in the Los Angeles area. From buying groceries to getting gift cards, the reality star is stepping up to help where she can.
There are a lot of celebrities stepping up to make a difference during the current pandemic that the world is facing. And while some are staying in and lending their support virtually, Khloe Kardashian chose to help out in a different way.
According to People Magazine, Kardashian has apparently spent the last week heading to different grocery stores in the Los Angeles area. And while that may not sound like a good thing, the reason the reality star did this was so she could pay for the groceries of some of the elderly shoppers in those stores.
Apparently Khloe Kardashian has been helping elderly customers at both Trader Joe’s and Ralphs locations who have chosen to utilize the senior shopping hour those stores implemented.
However, that’s not all that she has done to lend a helping hand in her community. On top of paying for the groceries for a number of elderly customers in those stores, she also purchased 200 gift cards for the employees themselves to use for their own grocery shopping.
While there is no word on how many customers benefited from Kardashian’s generosity, it is clear that she is doing her part to help people in need as she can. And this is not the first time that a member of the family has stepped up during these trying times.
In March, Kylie Jenner donated $1 million to medical professionals who needed the money in order to purchase protective gear and face masks. Jenner even worked with her mother to help get much-needed sanitizer into the hands of emergency workers and other health care workers.
When it comes to stepping up, it is clear that the Kardashian-Jenner family has no problem helping people in need. And that is something we can all appreciate.
