Dairy Queen is doing more than just offering drive-thru service with their DQ Play at Home
Dairy Queen isn’t just the home of good food and ice cream, it is also a place that looks to make a difference. And that’s where DQ Play at Home comes in.
Are you looking for a way to keep your kids happy at home? Are you struggling to find ways to keep them busy and entertained? Dairy Queen wants to help.
While we might think of Dairy Queen as the place to go for delicious food and decadent ice cream treats (I’m looking at you DQ Blizzard), they want to help make staying in less boring if they can. And it’s because of this desire to make staying home more entertaining that they recently introduced the DQ Play at Home kit.
DQ Play at Home is Dairy Queen’s attempt at fun for the whole family utilizing downloadable activities. There are Camp-In activities that let you and your family enjoy an indoor camping experience. Then there’s the Happy Chats section, which offers prompts, challenges, and questions to get everyone engaged in conversation. The third area of content is the Playbook, which is packed with a whole host of activities for the family to do at home. And finally there is the coloring book section, which offers a bunch of coloring sheets for keeping busy and having fun.
Of course, if you are looking for a treat, Dairy Queen is still offering plenty of options thanks to drive-thru and delivery options. And while we love the fact that they are giving families a way to alleviate their boredom, there is no doubt that we love their menu items just as much.
In fact, let’s not forget the fact that they currently have a decadent milkshake option on their menu right now that will definitely leave us wanting more. With the arrival of the Tiramisu Cake Shake, we get a decadent dessert in a drink and we can’t resist that.
So, whether you are looking for some fun activities at home to keep you and your family from getting bored while staying in, or you decide to head to your local Dairy Queen for a Blizzard, a shake, or something else, it’s clear that they have you covered right now.
What do you think of Dairy Queen offering downloadable content for families? Will you utilize the website for activities for your family? Tell us what you think in the comments.
