Wendy’s has been making headlines recently for two very different reasons. Mainly, fans of the fast food joint are wondering when burgers will rejoin the menu, permanently.
Even though there are many options on the Wendy’s menu you can order besides burgers, we’d be foolish to say beef burgers aren’t the main and most-desired meal on the menu. As good as the salads and spicy chicken nuggets are, what fans of the fast food joint crave most are burgers.
To keep fans happy, Wendy’s has been offering sweet deals, but what the people demand are burgers. When will these return as part of the permanent menu once again?
First, let’s make one thing clear. There seems to be some misunderstanding when it comes to how the meat shortage has been hurting Wendy’s. No, burgers haven’t been completely removed from the menu. What has been happening is that several Wendy’s locations have been running low on supply, so when this happens, burgers are no longer able to be served.
However, this isn’t an everyday occurrence or happening at every Wendy’s location. Burgers return to the menu as soon as supply is restocked. The question here is, when will the uncertainty stop?
While there is no clear answer, the situation seems to already be improving. Fewer locations are having to remove burgers from the menu, but that may change soon. With COVID-19 restrictions changing, allowing more people to leave the house, there is a higher demand. Can the fast food business keep up?
Still, we are hopeful! From what we have gathered and been keeping up with, give it a couple of more weeks until everything returns to, what we will be calling, a new normal.
