GREAT BRITAIN (UK)

Maltesers McFlurry

Essentially, Maltesers are the UK’s version of the US’ Whoppers candy, which are little malted milk balls. In this version of the classic vanilla soft serve-based McFlurry, UK McDonald’s take it yet a step even further, and add in little Maltesers clusters, similar to the Crunch clusters that you see sold here in US movie theaters and convenience stores. I love Maltesers and Whoppers, so if McDonald’s is reading this, at the very least make us a Whoppers McFlurry until Maltesers enter out territory!

Veggie Dippers

This menu item in particular is something that I’ve seen a lot of YouTuber’s try in certain food challenge videos, and I’ve got to say that in my personal opinion, they look (and sound) pretty dang good. Here’s what they are according to the UK’s McDonald’s menu online:

"A tasty blend of red pepper and sundried tomato pesto, all coated in crispy golden breadcrumbs and vegan certified by the Vegetarian Society."

Also, if you look up a picture in them, it looks like there is some corn in there as well. Again, just yet another reason for me to get my hands on some and try them out for myself!

Smarties McFlurry

Yep, another McFlurry. Now, if you’re reading this and you’re from the US, you’re probably thinking: EW. Smarties in a McFlurry? Well, think again, because Smarties out and over in the UK are something completely different. Smarties are essentially sugar-coated chocolates, so something similar to Sixlets! Much like the Maltesers McFlurry above, this delectable dessert is just the simply delicious vanilla soft serve all swirled together with some crushed up (chocolate) Smarties candies!
