NETHERLANDS

Chili Chicken

Yet another simple variation of a classic crispy chicken that truly makes me want to try this one even more. In the Netherlands, their Chili Chicken sandwich starts with a crispy chicken patty and is topped with crisp lettuce, followed by a sweet chili sauce (one of my favorite sauces ever). If you like crispy chicken, and a slight sweet kick to your sauces, then this sandwich will definitely be your jam!

Double Big Tasty

This is a menu item that used to be available in UK McDonalds as well (not sure if anywhere else, though), but has since been discontinued there. It’s essentially an upgraded and switched-up version of a Double Quarter Pounder in a sense. It’s two 100% beef patties, topped with your classic burger toppings, as well as their special sauce (recipe not specified). Sounds pretty darn good now, doesn’t it?

Croissant

Something, yet again much like the Sweet Corn from Japan, so simple that it just must be on the US menu. Hot buttery croissants in the morning with a cup of coffee is one of my own personal favorite ways to get a morning/day started in all honesty. Here, at Netherlands McDonalds, you get your choice of filling from the following: Nutella, Fresh Strawberries, or Apricot Jam.
