Let’s begin with discussing some great brands of ice cream that you can go pick up at your local grocery/convenience stores near you!

1. Ben & Jerry’s

Obviously, you’d have to be clueless in the ice cream department to not know about this brand. Ben & Jerry’s is one of the top tier brands in my opinion; however, if you’re not into ice cream having some wacky flavors and mix-ins inside of it, then this may not be your favorite brand, even though they do carry some more plain flavors as well.

From wacky names like Phish Food, Chubby Hubby, and The Tonight Dough, it’s pretty safe to say that B & J’s might have you wondering what’s actually in the ice cream before reading the packaging labels.

Some of my personal Ben & Jerry’s faves include the following:

  • Phish Food –> Chocolate ice cream, marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls, fudge fish
  • Cherry Garcia –> Cherry ice cream, cherries, chocolate chunks
  • Chubby Hubby –> Vanilla malt ice cream, peanut fudge-covered pretzels, fudge & PB swirls
  • Milk & Cookies –> Vanilla ice cream, chocolate cookie swirls, chocolate chips & chocolate chip cookies
  • Brewed to Matter –> Coffee ice cream, fudge chunks, brownie batter swirls

Some of the flavors that I have yet to try but need to immediately include the following:

  • Chillin’ the Roast –> Cold brew coffee ice cream, chocolate cookie-covered chocolate liqueur truffles, fudge swirls
  • Chocolate Therapy –> Chocolate ice cream, chocolate cookies, swirls of chocolate pudding ice cream
  • Cinnamon Buns –> Caramel ice cream, cinnamon bun dough, cinnamon streusel swirl
  • Ice Cream Sammie –> Vanilla ice cream, crushed Oreos, chocolate cookie swirl
  • Minter Wonderland –> Dark chocolate mint ice cream, marshmallow swirls, chocolate cookie swirls
