Chewboom reports that a sandwich called the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich is being tested in select locations? Where at? Only in a few participating fast food restaurants in Denver, Colorado.

The BBQ Bacon Cheddar Chicken Sandwich features Popeyes‘ iconic bread that hugs a hand-breaded white meat chicken filet. What makes this special is the smokey barbecue sauce, the cheddar cheese, and of course, two strips of crispy bacon.

According to the source, the foodie who spotted this new sandwich at his local Popeyes shares that it is seeking for $5.49 on its own or $7.49 as part of the combo meal. Not a bad deal! I can definitely enjoy this with fries and a drink for under $10.

Remember, just because this is coming in from Denver, Colorado, doesn’t mean it’s the only kitchen testing this new sandwich. There’s always a chance Popeyes could sneak this in at a local near us, too.
