Fall at Starbucks can’t be discussed without a mention of PSL’s…so, here we go!

2. Pumpkin Spice Latte

For a little fun fact here, this super classic and cult favorite Starbucks drink has been around since 2003. PSL’s, as they’re so commonly referred to as, is Starbucks number one selling seasonal drink; in fact, in previous years, and taking a rough average of other previous year(s) as well, Starbucks sells somewhere around 424 million worldwide. Wow.

There’s not a whole lot to say about this drink, because in my opinion, it tastes like pumpkin pie in a cup with a tiny bit of espresso coffee added into it.

Here’s what this drink consists of, according to their website:

  • Signature Espresso & Steamed Milk
  • Flavor Combo: Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Cloves
  • Whipped Cream
  • Pumpkin Pie Spices Dusted on Top

While that may sound like a lot of flavors all at once, trust me, it doesn’t taste like they all clash in your mouth because it just works, if you know what I’m trying to say here.

And forget about all of the other versions of this drink: iced, frappe-style. Just absolutely not. If you’re going to order something pumpkin-spice related, order a classic hot PSL and just forget about the rest because it’s not worth it (especially if you’re trying a PSL for the first time, then 100% try it hot or you’ll be thoroughly disappointed and upset that you didn’t).

What do you think of PSL’s and what’s your favorite way to drink them? Let us know!
