Here’s what will soon no longer be available at Taco Bell

As you may have heard by now, Taco Bell has decided to axe quite a few popular menu items from their menu, and let’s just say that people aren’t too happy about it. Some items that their getting away with just don’t make sense, while it makes sense to get rid of some other less popular menu items instead.

Here, we will be covering all of the menu items that Taco Bell is getting rid of, as well as featuring the two band new menu items that they are adding to the menu instead.

What’s Taco Bell’s excuse to getting rid of these menu items, you may ask? Well, according to their website, here’s what they have to say:

"We’re clearing space on our menu to create a more efficient Taco Bell experience. Beginning August 13, we will be simplifying our menu…while some old favorites may be retiring, the continued creativity coming from our Food Innovation Team is non-stop."

This news from Taco Bell isn’t being received too well. So, what are we saying goodbye to?

This whole news from Taco Bell has been talked about for the past week now, so let’s go over exactly what we will be bidding farewell to begin on August 13.

  • From the Tacos side of the menu: Grilled Steak Soft Taco
  • From the Burritos side of the menu: 7-Layer Burrito
  • From the Specialities side of the menu: Nachos Supreme
  • From the Cravings Value side of the menu (a lot): Beefy Fritos Burrito; Spicy Tostada; Triple Layer Nachos; Spicy Potato Soft Taco
  • From the Snacks side of the menu: Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes; Loaded Grillers (Cheesy Potato & Beefy Nacho); Chips & Dips (yes, all)
  • From the Breakfast side of the menu: Mini Skillet Bowls

So, with all of this sad news being stated here, yes, all of the potato-related menu items are waving their last goodbye to us (and no, I’m not okay, give me a minute here), okay?

On the flip side, Taco Bell is adding two new menu items to hopefully begin to make people feel happy again, and those two menu items go as follows:

  • $5 Grande Nachos Box – layers of beef, cheese, sour cream, beans, and more, all pulled together with a drink as well
  • $1 Beef Burrito – a new permanent addition to their Cravings Value Menu (yeah, right)

Let us know down below how you feel about all of these changes that Taco Bell has decided to make with their menu and what you’re the most sad about! Let’s debate and let’s go!
