One food we are all tired of cooking, is chicken, a DoorDash report shares

I’ll be the first to admit that I am so over cooking in general. Due to COVID-19, the world is left with few options: to order food online or cook. Many have been doing the latter, and too much of it! According to DoorDash, chicken is the one meal Americans are tired of cooking.

When I read this report, it spoke to me! Full disclosure, I’m not the biggest fan of chicken. At a restaurant, if given the option between it or steak or beef, my choice was never chicken. It still isn’t chicken when I order online. And I doubt it will ever be my go-to choice.

In my defense, steak is better or it wouldn’t be more expensive. I said what I said.

Sure, chicken is more healthy and better for you, but let me indulge, okay? I didn’t join Guilty Eats for my love for healthy meals. However, I have cooked it at home more than steak of beef. Why? There are simply more meals I can prepare with it. But I’m tired of it, and so is America, apparently.

America is done with chicken

According to The Daily Meal, chicken is the “No. 1 dish that people are completely over making.” This claim comes from a DoorDash Deep Dish Report, which shares that 41% of Americans are sick of grilling, cooking, and making chicken meals.

The other two meals America is making a lot of are pasta and microwavable meals. It seems most online orders are anything but chicken, to change things up.

Chicken may be easy to make, and it’s tasty, I suppose, but I’m also over it! What have you been cooking the most while social distancing and in quarantine? Have you found inspiration from any blogs or recipe books? Share with us!
