Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts are back and already on shelves

Who needs the rest of summer, right? Let’s get to Fall and everything pumpkin and spooky! Pop-Tarts seems to agree because their pumpkin pie flavor is back and already available at some stores. If you’re a pumpkin pie spice addict, your time has come early.

The Pop-Tart is like all the other flavors with the pastry crust on the outside, but this one stands out because it has a pumpkin pie filling on the inside. It’s like an easy on-the-go version of everyone’s favorite dessert from Thanksgiving. It doesn’t get much better than that.

The pastries also have the classic white frosting with red and orange-colored speckles on top. You can get them in boxes of eight or sixteen.

The return of the Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts also brings about new packaging for the breakfast pastry brand. The design is much sleeker than the original and made to look like the box is an oven with the pastries inside.

New pumpkin pie pop-tarts introduce new packaging

On the Pumpkin Pie box, the Pop-Tarts are featured on an orange rectangular background AKA the inside of the oven and then the classic Pop-Tart blue covers the rest of the box. There are also little temperature knobs at the top. It’s kind of ridiculously cute and I’m a sucker for cute packaging so this change is probably going to mean more Pop-Tarts in my life.

This fall-inspired flavor is currently available on Walmart’s website for $3.68 for an 8-count box (although, the box says 16??).

While I’m sure a lot of people eat these right out of the box, imagine one right out of the toaster! Warm pumpkin pie? Yes, please! I’m sure I’m not alone here.
