Selena + Chef on HBO Max has been renewed for a second season, here’s what we want to see

To be honest, I had low expectations for Selena + Chef on HBO Max. I just didn’t expect to love it, but I also knew it wouldn’t be terrible. Still, I didn’t tune in until I learned the streaming service had renewed the reality cooking series.

Once I watched, I almost instantly became addicted to it. It’s charming, it’s fun, it’s incredibly relatable! If you are an amateur cook or worse and have no idea how to behave in a kitchen, you’re not alone!

As much as I love other cooking shows that showcases baking and cooking talents, such as Hell’s Kitchen, Sugar Rush, and Master Chef, it’s refreshing to see someone who doesn’t know how to cook.

This makes Selena Gomes lovable, and you gotta also love her grandparents! But more on this later!

Here are five things we want to see in Selena + Chef season 2

Selena Gomez’s grandparents

The duo we didn’t know we needed in a cooking reality series are Selena Gomez’s grandparents! Her grandpa is absolutely adorable and hilarious. He’s not afraid to call Selena out if she messes up in the kitchen, and he even pranks her. It’s a lot of fun to see. We love the bond Selena has with her grandparents.

Fun cooking tools

When Selena + Chef premiered, everyone was talking about rainbow knives. I may have already bought myself some, too! They’re so pretty and makes cooking more fun. In season 2, we hope to see more fun cooking pots, utensils, and even decor!

Gordon Ramsay and Jon Favreau

Chef Gordon Ramsay NEEDS to be on Selena + Chef season 2! This would be so cool to see! Don’t get me wrong, I have loved all the chefs and learning about new ones. But Ramsay would be a dream. Another great chef to have is Jon Favreau.
