Travis Scott is treating fans with a line of McDonald’s inspired merchandise
Travis Scott and McDonald’s have partnered up for a new line of merchandise.
Travis Scott has already given us a glimpse of his love for McDonald’s with the two’s recent collaboration for the Travis Scott meal. Now as reported by CNN, Scott is taking advantage of the new partnership and his affection for the Golden Arches and making money with a brand new line of McDonald’s themed merchandise.
If you check out Scott’s website, you will find a wide variety of McDonald’s themed merchandise. Much of the merchandise is branded with the McDonald’s logo or colors along with references to Scott’s music or to Cactus Jack. Cactus Jack happens to be the name of Scott’s record label as well as his nickname/alter-ego. Along with Cactus Jack, there is a good amount of merchandise featuring the name for Scott’s forthcoming album “Live from Utopia.”
The merchandise drop includes over 30 varieties of t-shirts as well as hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, boxers, shorts, and pants. If apparel is not your thing, Travis Scott still has you covered with a vintage metal lunch box, a lunch tray, life-size Travis Scott cutout, and a few different types of rugs.
Travis Scott is also selling a Nugget Body Pillow in his collection.
Along with the cutout, the Travis Scott action figure featured in the McDonald’s Travis Scott meal promo ads is featured on some of the apparel as well. There is also a basketball and blanket to be purchased, but the ultimate prize may be the Nugget Body Pillow.
The pillow is shaped like a McDonald’s Chicken McNugget and is extremely realistic looking. The pillow has a woven McDonald’s label tag and comes in a nice size of 36 inches. Unfortunately, you will have to be patient when buying this nugget pillow since it takes nine to 12 weeks to ship.
Any success by Scott with the merchandise should be welcomed by McDonald’s since it helps them to achieve their goal with the original partnership with Scott which was to become more relevant with the younger generation of consumers.
If you would like one of the Cactus Jack/McDonald’s items, make sure you head to Scott’s website soon. Even though everything just launched on September 10, Scott is showing his ability to push merchandise with items already selling out. There is no word about whether or not he will restock either.
