McDonald’s is taking social distancing and precautions to the next level with drive-thru interviews

Whether this beats Zoom interviews for you or not, McDonald’s is taking social distancing and COVID-19 regulations very seriously with drive-thru interviews — but only at select locations.

Listen, I hate a shaky internet connection as much as the next person. But I think I would rather take my chances than having a drive-thru interview. I get it, but I also don’t. Where do you stand on it? Here are more details about it!

NBC San Diego broke the news, McDonald’s is offering drive-up job interviews for Southern California residents who are searching for work.

How do these McDonald’s drive-thru interviews work?

Reportedly, there are currently 15 San Diego locations offering these interviews. The source even shared a link HERE to where you can learn more about these interviews.

If you live in the area, don’t be so quick to rush over. This is going to be an event as the Drive-Up Hiring Day will be happening Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. only. Interested? Drive up to your nearest location for a chance to get a spot.

This is nothing short of interesting! If you are able to get an interview at one of these McDonald’s locations, be sure to share your experience with us, we would love to hear all about it.

I’m sure many will go just to see what it’s all about and not taking it too seriously. And if that’s the case, I can’t imagine things will go over smoothly, especially with no appointments being necessary. This is unfair for those who truly are searching for a job, so remember to be mindful!

If the interviews are a success, do you see any other fast food restaurants following suit and going with drive-thru interviews?
