Halloween is fast approaching! Here are some candies you need ASAP!

From classics to some new varieties that seem to come out just about each and every year, it’s safe to say that Halloween is certainly a candy-lovers dream. From sour candies to chocolates and gummies, to everything else in between, Halloween candy is some of the most sought-after stuff at the grocery stores.

While you can get most of these candies all year round, some of them just seem to taste better in their different holiday shapes, whether you believe that or not. We will be diving into some of the most delicious, and popular Halloween candies that if you don’t already have or have tried, then you probably should!

The best Halloween candy

1. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups: Pumpkins

Starting with a classic here, Reese’s seems to come out with shaped peanut butter cups for all of the main holidays, and for that, we are super thankful for. When it comes time for Fall and Halloween time, the pumpkin-shaped peanut butter cups just do it for me. If no other chocolate-based candy existed, I’d be just fine.

2. Skittles Zombies

This is something I’ve never even heard of before, so maybe it’s new to 2020. Skittles seems to be hopping on the whole Beanboozled trend, and in this particular variety pack, there’s one flavor that they claim is ‘rotten’. As the slogan on their bag says, “Dare to try?”

3. Kit Kat: Pumpkin Pie

Of course, it’s that time of year where everything’s got some sort of pumpkin or pumpkin spice flavor variety and KitKat is certainly no exception and not holding back whatsoever. This is surely a fan-favorite flavor, me included.

4. Trolli Sour Bites: Candy Corn

For those of you who choose to hate normal Candy Corn (you’re weird), this candy’s for you, especially if you’re a fan of sour candies. Trolli’s got ya covered because they took their classic gummy sour candies and made them into the shapes of Candy Corn, so now even all you haters out there can still enjoy some sort of version of the timeless classic!

5. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups: Franken Cups

This variety of everyone’s favorite has a slight twist to it: half of the chocolate is green. Yup, you heard me right folks: half of the cup is the normal milk chocolate and half of the cup is featuring a green creme. What could be better than this, than a holiday-themed chocolate? Not much, I tell ya, that’s for sure!

6. Tootsie: Caramel Apple Lollipops

Before we go ahead and talk about possibly the best Halloween candy ever, let me start with the fact that, up until this point, I genuinely had no idea whatsoever than these were made by the Tootsie brand (call me crazy or stupid or just naive). The more you know!

Now, this is definitely one of the most flavorful, delicious candies out there that, thank God, is usually available All. Year. Round. Praise and thank you, God!

7. Kool-Aid: Ghoul-Aid Popping Candy

This is one of the few products on this list that I never heard of or even knew that existed. Popping candies is more of a spectacle and trick than it is a delicious candy or treat for kids. They love the popping sensation. On top of all of that, let’s mix together a sugary, kids’ favorite powder-based drink and make it even tastier and sour too!

8. Stuffed Puffs Halloween Treat Pack

Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but this is possibly the coolest looking candy with a pretty dang cool concept to it as well. Yes, folks, these are individually stuffed marshmallows, stuffed with real milk chocolate. All you’re missing is some graham crackers and a bonfire! Plus, any leftovers or extras can be made into some S’mores as well so they don’t go to waste one bit!

9. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups: Halloween Variety Pack

For any Reese’s lover out there, especially my Boyfriend, this is your dreams and fantasies come true because it comes with 18 full-sized bars with three different varieties in it. Here’s what it comes with:

  • Reese’s Franken Cups (5 ct.)
  • Reese’s (Classic) Peanut Butter Cups (8 ct.)
  • Reese’s Take 5 (5 ct.)

10. Candy Corn: Blackberry Cobbler

This particular candy can also be found on Amazon, if not at your local stores, which I have personally yet to come across. If you’re not the biggest fan of the normal Candy Corn, but Blackberry-flavored treats are your thing, then be sure to give this one a big go!

11. Twix: Cookies & Creme

This product is relatively new, but I still have yet to try it for myself. It brings one of the best flavor combinations and a classic candy bar together into one delicious treat duo. If Cookies & Cream/Oreo-flavored things are your jam, then why not add these to your current stash of candy, am I right?!

12. Mars Wrigley Variety Pack

This particular pack is found/located on Amazon.com. It includes 350 pieces, and can be yours for the price of $69.95. That’s not really a bad price for how much you’re getting. Plus, kids love candy and Halloween in general, so it definitely won’t go to waste! Or, bring it to your office for all of your friends and family to enjoy!

13. Junior Mints: Limited Edition Orange & Black

The other day, my Dad brought home a pack of these, and maybe it was just all in my head, but much like other festive holiday-themed candies on the market out there, it just tastes better with the mint-flavored creme being orange or black. Yumm-oh!

14. Flipz: Mini Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels

These are something that you could eat all year round, but the festive little themed packs, that are covered in chocolate just do it for me. I love eating these and getting these on Halloween. Plus, kids don’t always want all of the non-candy items, so I’m always down to take it off their hands for them. It’s only the right thing to do, am I right folks?

15. Sweet Tarts: Skulls & Bones

Last, but certainly not least, comes one of my personal faves on this list. One of the fans’ favorite sour candies is Sweet Tarts, and what’s better than some fun festive Halloween-shaped Bones and Skulls. These particular packs come with three of the classic Sweet Tart flavors, and those go as follows: Purple (Grape), Yellow (Lemon), and Red (Cherry).

It's not too late to get a Cotton Candy dipped cone from DQ. light. More
