Jack Skellington might be the master of fright, but this Starbucks frap is certainly the master of flavor!

It’s that time of year where everything has some sort of pumpkin spice version, the leaves start changing, and Halloween is certainly fast-approaching. Well, in fact, Fall time at Starbucks started on August 25 this year, just a few days earlier than last year. And once again, the menus are adorned with all things Fall and pumpkin spice (my most favorite time of the year, besides Christmas time).

This newest addition to the so-called ‘Secret Menu’ at Starbucks came to us last year, as far as I can remember, and it’s certainly the master of flavor. It’s called the Jack Skellington Frappuccino. Lucky for me, I got my hands on one, minus one little thing, but let me tell you, nonetheless, it was delicious.

The Starbucks Jack Skellington Frappuccino is as delicious as ever, folks!

First of all, let’s talk about what it consists of. Here’s the recipe, courtesy of @kelsalyn on Instagram:

  • Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino w/ Chai Syrup
  • Shot of Espresso
  • Mocha Drizzle on Sides of Cup
  • Whipped Cream on Top & Blended In

Now for me, I had this minus the Chai Syrup. Personally, I love Chai-flavored things and drinks alike; however, when I tried this, I made a mobile order and was unable to add in Chai-flavored syrups in there. Next time, maybe I’ll just order a Chai Frap and add in Pumpkin Syrup.

For me, I ended up adding in two shots of espresso because I’m a huge fan of coffee and the taste of it just in general. Upon receiving my specialty drink, it certainly didn’t look like the color of a regular Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino; it looked more like some sort of Mocha or Chocolate Frap; however, the first sip was absolutely delicious, and so were the rest of the sips after that as well!

The pumpkin mixed with the chocolate was just one of the best flavor combos that I had never tried before, but never even knew I was missing; I know you’ll feel the same way once you try one as well.

If you’ve tried this or are interested in trying one, certainly let us know what you think of it. What’s your all-time favorite season at Starbucks? Tell us in the comments.
