Kraft has done something weird with Pumpkin Spice Mac & Cheese
Kraft has a pumpkin spice-infused macaroni and cheese and 2020 continues to win
Kraft is joining in on fall with a Pumpkin Spice Macaroni and Cheese. Everyone knows fall is here and this also means pumpkin spice just about everything is here too. We already have plenty of macaroni and cheese options and plenty of pumpkin spice options it was only a matter of time for the two to be married together. Unfortunately, the time is now.
According to Delish, the Kraft Dinner Pumpkin Spice Mac and Cheese is available in Canada in October. Kraft Dinner is the Canadian version of what we affectionately know here in the US as just Kraft Mac and Cheese. Kraft Dinner or KD for short, is just as popular with our neighbors to the north as it is in our country, but this may be a bolder move than anything we would normally see in the United States.
This pumpkin spice version of KD mac and cheese features the traditional and classic cheese powder and then will have as KD describes hints of cinnamon, dashes of allspice, and layers of ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. If your mouth is not watering yet, I don’t blame you. On their behalf, KD seems to be marketing this as a tongue in cheek effort. This is thankful because I am not sure if the world is truly ready for this.
KD is not selling the Pumpkin Spice Mac and Cheese but giving it away instead
There will only be 1,000 servings of KD Pumpkin Spice Macaroni and Cheese available to winners who register at PumpkinSpiceKD.com. The company will be delivering the servings in a white cup made to look like a coffee cup mimicking a pumpkin-spice latte from Starbucks. The cups will have the winner’s name written on it but as the company states, it will be “spelled wrong of course.”
If you are not fortunate enough to win or do not live in Canada to be eligible, you could always just sprinkle some pumpkin spice seasonings on your Kraft Mac and Cheese. I’m not sure if we need it, but it is here and can be hacked. If you’re like me, you might just want the classic straight up or something more normal such as baked mac and cheese or mac and cheese with bacon. Stick to the classics.
