Dairy Queen and Alfonso Ribeiro are partnering together to help out children

Everyone knows Dairy Queen is a great source for putting smiles on faces and Alfonso Ribeiro is well known for his dancing (mainly one dance in particular). The two are now partnering together for the DQ Dance Challenge all to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The fun charitable challenge has the potential to raise up to $25,000 to support children and families served by CMN Hospitals throughout the country.

Dairy Queen has started a new dance for the promotion and wants to see people test their dancing skills and show them on social media. The new DQ Dip & Curl Dance is exactly how it sounds. All you have to do is dip, dip, and curl to make the dance official. The dance has a throwback feel to it and seems perfect for working up an ice cream appetite. DQ shared more on the dance on their Instagram.

To help with donations, all you have to do is perform the DQ Dip & Curl Dance and share it on either Facebook or Instagram with #DQDanceChallenge. Dairy Queen is donating $1 for every video shared and is encouraging everyone to challenge friends and family. It’s definitely for a good cause and worth every second you can spare towards it.

Dairy Queen enlisted Alfonso Ribeiro to show off his dance skills for the challenge

Dairy Queen brought out the big guns by partnering with Alfonso Ribeiro for the challenge. The actor is promoting the challenge on his own social media account and has already given his own rendition of the DQ Dip & Curl Dance.

The DQ Dance Challenge is running from now until October 11th. If you would like more information or would rather donate without posting a dance, you can at the DQ Dance Challenge website. You can also download the song for the dance on the website. I’m sure dances followed by a trip to DQ for Blizzards are highly encouraged.
