QDOBA and Cholula have combined powers for a new limited-time menu item
QDOBA is sometimes the forgotten burrito joint but this doesn’t mean they aren’t able to put together a great menu. For some, QDOBA’s queso is legendary and they offered consumers guacamole long before Chipotle started to. According to Chewboom, QDOBA has added the Cholula Hot and Sweet Chicken to its menu.
This exciting new menu entree features chicken grilled in house and then tossed in a mixture of Cholula Original Hot Sauce and sweet honey. For fanatics of a sweet heat combination, this is a must-try.
Cholula has become a go-to for many everyday hot sauce lovers and the addition of sweet honey should provide tremendous balance to this chicken. Cholula tends to bring flavor and not just heat with their hot sauces. It’s a favorite for many including myself.
When speaking about the new entree, QDOBA CEO Keith Guilbault had this to say:

In promoting the new chicken option, QDOBA also has a new Cholula Hot & Sweet Chicken Bowl. This tasty sounding dish includes the chicken along with cilantro lime rice, black beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, and finished with cotija cheese. The dish is the brainchild of executive chef Katy Velazquez.
