M&M’s new haunted castle cookie kit now available

It might be too early for gingerbread, but that doesn’t mean you can’t build a different kind of cookie house. With Halloween just around the corner, M&M’s is now offering a haunted castle made entirely out of cookies and candy.

I know what you’re thinking. You’ve tried to do the gingerbread/cookie house thing before and it fell down three times before you just gave up and ate all the decorations. With this M&M one, it’s almost impossible to mess it up. It comes with base clips so you don’t have to only rely on icing and a hope and a prayer to keep it together.

Besides that, you get the whole chocolate cookie structure, already-made icing, and purple and orange powder to mix with the icing so you can have different colors to decorate with. And of course, you get a ton of M&Ms. How many actually make it onto the castle is up to you.

The kit also comes with paper pieces that you can stick to the castle with icing to make it look even more haunted. Some of the paper cutouts even include the M&M characters from the commercials!

Where can you get one? The kits are currently $11.98 at Walmart and would perfect to make on Halloween night while watching a movie marathon. This is especially good if you’re wary of letting your kids go trick-or-treating. Now they can have fun, get a sugar high, and stay safe at home! What more could you ask for?

This isn’t the only cookie kit perfect for Halloween. There is also an Oreo graveyard at Michaels for $11.99, a chocolate house kit at Trader Joes for $7.99, and even a fancy haunted house kit at Williams Sonoma for $29.99.
