In a shocking turn of events, Potbelly has added an Oreo Cookie Strawberry Shake to their menu, infuriating the fall pumpkin gods.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop apparently didn’t get the memo that every new item you add to your menu in the months between September and November must include some variant of pumpkin.

The funny part? I’m only being a little sarcastic. It seems like no matter where you go or what you want to eat, pumpkin is somewhere to be found. Pumpkin drinks, ice cream, donuts, coffee, you name it and it seems like every restaurant in the world is trying to feed you pumpkin.

Potbelly adds a milkshake without any pumpkin!

So imagine my shock when Chewboom reported that Potbelly has added a new milkshake to their menu and that there is not a whiff of pumpkin to be found. No, instead their new concoction is a … wait for it … Oreo Cookie Strawberry Shake!

Yes, believe it or not it is possible to buy something sweet this fall season that doesn’t taste like pumpkin.

The Oreo Cookie Strawberry Shake includes hand-dipped strawberry ice cream mixed with Oreo cookies into a milkshake. It is topped with whipped cream and, of course, a maraschino cherry. And if you are thinking that sounds awesome you would be right.

The new Potbelly Oreo Cookie Strawberry Shake, which tells pumpkin to hit the road, will cost you about four bucks and change for a 16 oz shake while the smaller 10 oz version will set you back $3 and change. It’s only available for a limited time to enjoy it while you can.
