Looking to add some magic to your day? Old Ellicott City in Howard County, Maryland, is celebrating all things magical this month with Muggle Month on Magical Main.

One of the best things about fall is the food. The other best thing about fall is the events. When you combine the two, you get a magical concoction perfect for the whole family!

Old Ellicott City in scenic Howard County, Maryland, has been thinking up new ways to draw families to this perfect little town, and this month’s Muggle Month on Magical Main is perfect! Celebrating all things Harry Potter, visitors can enjoy special sales, photo ops, and most importantly — Harry Potter inspired food and drinks.

What kind of food and drinks can you find on Magical Main?

Manor Hill Tavern is brewing up Slytherin Sangria. This potion features Rioja, Raspberry Vodka, Torres Magdala Curacao, Peach Schnapps, House Sour, Citrus, and MH Sparkling Lime. The result is a beautiful plum-colored drink that tastes as exceptional as it sounds. As a bonus, a portion of sales goes to the National Federation of the Blind in Maryland.

Looking for something to perk you up? Little Market Cafe’s Butter Beer is made with caramel sauce, toffee nut, cinnamon, and whole milk. You can enjoy this hot or cold. I prefer to drink this perfect autumn drink hot. You can also switch out the kind of milk you want. This is the perfect drink any time of the day! Looking for something with more substance? Little Market Cafe is also serving Harry Potter inspired food — including a pretzel big enough for Hagrid!

Of course, you can also find adult Butter Beer at the Phoenix on Upper Main! Made with Boomerang Ale and syrup, this version of Butter Beer was delicately light and refreshing. It was also only $5, so you won’t break the bank trying this potion out!

More. Bring some magic into your kitchen with these Harry Potter gadgets!. light
