Noodles and Company’s new benefits to include things like mental health options

Noodles and Company has decided to expand their employee benefits

Known as LifeAtNoodles, Noodles and Company which is famous for things, such as Zoodles (made from zucchini) and Caulifloodles (made from cauliflower), is super proud to announce an expansion of their benefits program for employees of the company.

They have decided to add categories to their comprehensive benefits program for it’s employees that they feel are super important to be addressed that include ideas, such as “education, wellness, family planning, expanded time off, and recognition initiatives for all team members”.

What else does Noodles and Company plan to do with their new employees benefits program?

Here’s what their VP of Human Resources, Sue Petersen, had to say about all of this:

"“We are constantly focused on how we can make Noodles the best place to work in the industryand we are proud of these new benefits that honor our commitment to inclusion and diversity. We want each team member to know that they are welcomed and valued at Noodles & Company, and we believe that improving on our existing benefits closes the advancement gapand provides everyone a seat at the table.”"

Noodles and Company wants all of their employees, no matter where they work or what department they come from, to feel that their voices are being heard, and that they belong. They plan on offering free in-person and virtual counseling that will be available to any and every single one of their employees! With the recent and ongoing pandemic, that’s definitely something that a lot of people need right now, given that the COVID-19 Pandemic has “drastically increased mental health instability”.

Here’s a little note about what they plan on providing for family planning topics:

"Noodles and Company also supports team members’ growing families by offering six weeks ofpaid paternity leave and surrogacy and adoption assistance for qualifying team members of upto $10k. This is in addition to Noodles & Company’s back up dependent care assistance, which provides team members with 10 days of back-up child, elder, or pet care to assist withunexpected situations, and exceptional phase-in and phase-out maternity leave which includes100% pay for a reduced schedule during the four weeks before and after the arrival of a child.Furthermore, Noodles & Company is offering tuition assistance for all team members and their immediate family to help families meet their educational goals and career dreams."

Here’s just a few more things that their (Noodles and Company’s) new program plans on including among many other things as well:

  • Free flu shot for all team members
  • Free breastmilk shipping
  • Free team member meals
  • Floating holidays
  • Gender neutral bathrooms available

Since they first opened up back in 1995, this company truly believes in the fact that all of their employee’s voices matter no matter what!
