DoorDash and Bubba Wallace have teamed up to promote voting and fueling up

As election day approaches, there are many people out there encouraging Americans to use their voice and get out there and vote. DoorDash and Bubba Wallace are also doing the same as they partner together to encourage voting in cities across the United States. The initiative is being called #DashToThePolls. It’s the first initiative since both sides announced a partnership back in mid-August with a goal of empowering communities in need across the U.S.

Wallace is DoorDash’s first NASCAR ambassador, and he along with DoorDash is using his celebrity and platform to encourage voters. He recently admitted that this will be his first time voting in an election and wants to encourage others to do the same. On the track, Wallace will be having his racecar adorned with a special paint job for his November 1st race at Martinsville Speedway. His car will include both a “VOTE” logo similar to a pin or sticker you could place on your shirt. Along with the DoorDash logo, Wallace’s car will also have #DashToThePolls on the back of the car.

DoorDash is also doing its part for encouraging voting during the upcoming election day. DoorDash has partnered with When We All Vote to bring food trucks to Miami, Lansing, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Raleigh, and Charlotte. The partnership will help provide meals to citizens and poll workers in those cities. The food at each location will feature a local immigrant-owned restaurant. The idea is to showcase and highlight all of the flavors that make up America. All voters no matter party affiliation or beliefs are welcomed as a way to encourage the diversity of the country.
