Drake added Mac and Cheese to his birthday menu, but it was the raisins we have questions about
Drake served mac and cheese with raisins for his birthday
Mac and cheese is a classic, comfort dish. And while some recipes might include meat or veggies, Drake‘s recipe brings in raisins. Now we have questions.
On Oct. 24, Drake celebrated his 34th birthday and apparently spent the day with family and a few close friends. And in honor of his big day, it seems that the rapper/singer had a rather unique menu to enjoy.
According to Delish, a screenshot is making the rounds on social media that apparently shows off his birthday menu and one item in particular is raising a lot of eyebrows and questions. And we also have questions!
Drake is giving us mac and cheese that features more than just extra cheese
While mac and cheese might seem like a typical dish (and it is), the way Drake is apparently eating it is anything but usual. In fact, according to the screenshots it seems this dish features “sun dried tomato, capers, raisin, and parsley.” However, it is important to note that it is entirely possible that this is a typo, as there is another dish on the menu that seems to feature the same exact ingredients.
No matter which dish it is that featured the raisins, the internet is an unforgiving place. And many of his fans had questions (and we have the same questions) or offered up some rather funny commentary.
The biggest question might just be, why would anyone want to eat a mac and cheese dish with raisins! Honestly, I can’t imagine willingly eating mac and cheese with capers, let alone raisins. (Seriously, leave our comfort food alone.) And yet, it sounds like perhaps Drake and his friends and family really did eat this dish and now we really just want to know – how was it.
Do you think the mac and cheese with raisins was a typo? Are you even a little surprised that this could even be a thing? Would you eat this version of mac and cheese? Tell us what you think in the comments.
